Investors in wildlife
A couple of weeks back our lovely Sales Director Jill met up with the folk at Essex Wildlife Trust. As a local business, and just down the road from us, we were keen to be part of their vision by becoming an investor in wildlife.
Essex Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation charity. The Trust has been protecting Essex's wildlife since 1959 and is working hard to restore, recreate and rebuild living landscapes. We're incredibly lucky to have this natural environment right on our doorstep and it's really important to us to ensure this continues. It's too easy to take this for granted - but if we do, it may be lost forever.
They do a terrific job and we are delighted to support them going forward. Recent successes include reintroducing black honey bees at Abberton Reservoir, starting a Polecat project following their natural return to our wonderful county and a barn owl conservation initiative.
We're proud to be an Essex Wildlife Investor. Please do check them out!
